In this course, Workers are taught about DOSH and OSHA Regulations, Hand tools vs Power tools such as Electric, pneumatic fueled, hydraulic, powder actuated, and Abrasive wheels and tools. This training goes over Washington State and Federal guidelines, and how to properly follow through with them to ensure a safe and accident-free workplace.

This training is necessary for new operators and maintenance or setup personnel, when any new or altered safeguards are put in service, or when workers are assigned to a new machine or operation. In this training, Workers are taught about identification of the hazards associated with particular Tools. How to use the safeguards and why. How and under what circumstances safeguards can be removed, and by whom (in most cases, repairs or maintenance personnel only).What to do (e.g., contact the supervisor) if a safeguard is damaged, missing, or unable to provide adequate protection.
