Competent Person Fall Protection

This intermediate-level online training course offers essential fall protection training for the construction industry. Course topics include an overview of fall protection, common fall hazards, fall hazard evaluation and control, fall prevention training requirements, passive and active fall protection systems, alternate fall protection systems, fall protection planning, and additional fall protection considerations.

Fall Protection with Ladder/Scaffold Awareness

Course participants will learn how to avoid falls and mitigate hazards per OSHA, WAC 296-880 Unified Fall Protection Standard, American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommendations for workplace safety.

What you can expect during these courses

During this training courses, we will review the basic requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, known as OSHA, for protection of employees from fall hazards. It also contains best practices from ANSI/ASSP Z359. As well as WAC 296-880 Unified Fall Protection Standard for Washington State.

This course is designed to provide workers and supervisors with the knowledge and skills to identify fall hazards, select and inspect fall protection equipment, and ensure compliance with OSHA fall protection standards.

This training is intended for safety managers, supervisors, and workers responsible for overseeing fall protection programs and ensuring that proper fall prevention measures are in place.
