Heat Related Illness Training Course

For this training course, our trainers go over what heat stress really is, ways to help someone going through a heat illness, and many ways to prevent the situation from happening in the first place. Our training introduces topics such as real-life experiences and situations, codes and requirements to make the workplace a safe and accident-free environment, and tools to provide solutions for possible situations concerning heat related illnesses.

What you can expect during this course

During this course, participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and dehydration, as well as effective prevention strategies. The course covers emergency response procedures, proper hydration practices, and workplace safety measures to protect individuals from heat-related hazards.

This training is essential for outdoor workers, construction crews, warehouse employees, and anyone exposed to high temperatures in their work environment.
Participants learn to recognize symptoms such as excessive sweating, dizziness, confusion, nausea, and loss of consciousness, which may indicate heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
The course emphasizes staying hydrated, taking scheduled breaks in shaded or cool areas, wearing proper clothing, and recognizing early warning signs to prevent serious heat-related health risks.
